Not that I really have time for any of them anymore since I am completely wrapped up in Runes of Magic with my wife. Welcome to the RoRRebels Shoutbox imtheracistvrumvrum: i went to plainice's workshop but i cant find the link to the nice cars they post there, can anyone help at 6:11pm. Hey guys, i found an old site for RoR mods, probably forgotten, with several old mods where i could download several vehicles, on some pages i even found maps too. I have it installed just to keep an eye on it and test stuff every once in a while, but I mainly use MSTS for the time being. Many of these vehicles have been created by fans of Rigs of Rods and the collection includes huge trucks aeroplanes and ships. However, it is in active development and should be considered as a usable, free, open-source alternative to the proprietary monstrosities. Rigs of Rods latest version: Realistic Transportation Game for Simulation Fans. There isn't a whole lot available for it yet and what is there isn't necessarily of great quality. OpenBVE's development is a bit on the slow side as it is an open-source fork of BVE. OpenBVE leaves a lot to be desired by someone who has used Microsoft Train Simulator or other much more complete variations of train simulators. It is definitely a lot of fun and my texture development work is actually geared more towards RoR than FG. I take no credit for this technique.RoR is an excellent soft-body physics model, but definitely not designed for simulation of dynamics with respect to planes and boats (trains aren't its real forte, either, but that development is rapidly coming along). This post was just to make this technique more open to people in the community. This will prevent it from going higher than the current gear allows. If you want to prevent the fleeing vehicle from going too fast you can switch it to manual using "Q". Step three: Begin the chase, do pit-maneuvers, all sorts of stuff! (Slow-mo is optional, it just gives you a chance to switch before the other car gets a head start.) This should send the car you switched out of to drive in a straight line, almost like jamming the throttle down. (Some vehicles may not work as the fleeing car due to it spinning out or leaving the track on its own.) Then once you've done that, enter the vehicle you want to flee, put slow-mo on, hold the forward button down and while still holding it, switch to the other vehicle using the vehicles tab. Step two: Spawn up two vehicles of your choice. For the best experience download some mods from the Rigs of Rods Mod Repository. Rigs is Rods can also be played with Gamepads, Joysticks, Wheels and other controllers, including support for Force Feedback. Unfortunately I don't think this map has been added back onto the new repo at this time, here's a link to the old download: In this case see the vehicles documentation or go to Menu -> Simulation -> Show vehicle description. Step one: I recommend you use this area in this map, but any completely flat area without things in the way could work. Many people probably already know how to do this, but for those who do not, here's some easy to follow, simple instructions. Some people have asked if there was a way to do this before, so I thought I'd make a post about it so people can just see how without having to ask. This is a post I decided make for anyone who wanted to make a police chase in singleplayer, without using AI.
